Culture Shock
Culture Shock works with young people at risk of various types of crimes or have experienced childhood trauma.
Our volunteers, nurture young people and provide a safe atmosphere where transferable life skills are learned, knowledge is gained and education or employment opportunities are secured.
We currently offer practical work experience, including the following -
1) Events hosting - Black History Month, open mic, conferences and more.
2) Stage performing - be it poetry, music, rap, dance, or more
3) Creating arts displays for events such as chelmsford carnival, streets alive, and more
4) Stewarding for various events both paid and unpaid
5) Advertising and Media - Radio interviews, podcasts and more
6) Finances - Managing stalls
7) Cook meals for the group and eating together
