What is Culture Shock?

Culture Shock supports young people who are at risk of making harmful choices or have experienced trauma. 

We believe every young person deserves the chance to feel safe, valued, and empowered to create a better future.

Help organise and run events like Black History Month, open mics, conferences, and more.

2️⃣ Stage Performance

Showcase your talent — whether it’s poetry, music, rap, dance, or something uniquely you.

3️⃣ Creative Arts & Displays

Design and build art for events and community festivals.

4️⃣ Event Stewarding

Gain experience as a steward at public events — some roles are paid.

5️⃣ Media & Promotion

Get involved in radio interviews, podcasts, and digital content creation to promote important messages.

6️⃣ Finance & Enterprise Skills

Learn how to manage money, run a stall, and take ownership of real responsibilities.

7️⃣ Cooking & Community

Cook group meals, eat together, and build connection through food and conversation.
