HOW DID WE DO?

We are delighted to announce that we are hosting a variety of events in celebration of Chelmsford Black History Month 2023.

We will be based at  Unit 32 The Meadows Shopping Mall Chelmsford CM2 6FD

We had a series of wants from last year and the only one we were unable to fully achieve was adequate financial investment, however we were able to secure some funds from Essex Diversity Cultural Project which was for a oneday Town centre event but after consultation, it was felt that providing a safe place for 30 days in a contained place, with a varierty of cultural activities would reach more residents and serve our purpose of Connecting Communities Together.

7th of October 2023 Basildon Town Centre, St Martins Square

We would also like to thank Flex as the grassroots organisation for this partnership and their financial contribution. This event will be held at St Martins Square Basildon, on the 7th of October 2023. We will have a stage with performances and many bespoke goodie stalls.

29th of October, Chelmsford,  Tindal Square 12noon - 4pm

Chelmsford Town Centre Event-  With 0 funding raised for this event, community rellisence prevailed and in partnership with grassroots businesses, will be hosting a very small event in Chelmsford on the 29th of October at Tindal Square with local acts and bespoke business stalls.
